Start the day with a cup of coffee on the balcony, head out to explore Zeeland and end the evening with a drink while looking out over the Oosterschelde. With its generous space, comfort and beautiful views, De Kokkel is an excellent base for a stay with family or friends.

Comfortable living and cooking

The living room is a welcoming place to spend time together. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the dining table, play a board game or relax on the sofa after a day outdoors. The open-plan kitchen connects to the living room and is fully equipped for preparing your own meals.

You will find an induction hob, dishwasher, combi oven, fridge with freezer compartment and kettle. All the kitchen essentials you need are also provided. A fully automatic bean-to-cup coffee machine is ready whenever you fancy a freshly brewed cup of coffee.

Appartement De Kokkel accommodates six people and features three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have a comfortable double bed, while the third is furnished with two single beds. This gives everyone a comfortable place to unwind.

The spacious bathroom features a shower. There is also a separate toilet and a washing machine, which is especially convenient during longer stays.

Thanks to its corner location, De Kokkel boasts an extra-spacious balcony. Settle into the lounge seating, enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining table or fire up the electric barbecue for a lovely evening outdoors.

During the appropriate season, you can collect oysters yourself at permitted locations along the Oosterschelde. Be sure to follow the applicable rules and regulations. Once back at the apartment, you can prepare them on the electric barbecue and enjoy another taste of Zeeland.

Brasserie De Zeester

Brasserie De Zeester is located on the ground floor of Residentie De Zeester. You can stop by for coffee, a drink, lunch or dinner while enjoying views across the Oosterschelde. There is no need to travel far for a pleasant meal: simply head downstairs from your apartment.

Please note: Brasserie De Zeester is closed on Mondays.

Everything within easy reach

Practical amenities have also been taken into account. Appartement De Kokkel features underfloor heating, a smart TV, free Wi-Fi and a washing machine. There is plenty of free parking around Residentie De Zeester.

Scherpenisse is situated on the island of Tholen and makes an excellent base for exploring Zeeland and the surrounding towns. Take a walk through the De Pluimpot nature reserve or visit Yerseke, famous for Zeeland's oysters and mussels. Goes and Bergen op Zoom are also within easy reach for a day of shopping, a relaxing drink on a terrace or a cultural outing.
